The special express train leaves Ueno station every 30 minutes from7:00AM and takes about 70-90 minutes.
The fare between Ueno and Mito, including the special express trainsupplement and seat reservation fee is 4,290 yen.
Without seat reservation the fare is 3,580 yen (in this case you mustsit in a car marked "unreserved").
